Jinvani Book Club

A Study & Discussion Community for Young Minds — a reading community by JinWani × JinSwara.

The Idea

Read together, understand together.

Have you ever wanted to read a good Jinvani, but never quite managed to begin? Or started one, only to stop midway because reading alone gets hard? The Jinvani Book Club was created to solve exactly this — here, we read together and understand together.

Why a Jain Book Club?

A modern concept, rooted in traditional wisdom.

Across the world, book clubs thrive — for fiction, non-fiction, and everything in between. But we felt the need for a Jain book club: one that modernizes this global concept and brings Jain philosophy to the young generation.

Enjoy, Don’t Just Read

Reading as joy

We want readers to enjoy reading Jain books — not just get through them. Every book becomes an experience shared with the community.

Beyond the Page

Notes & reflections

Build the habit of taking notes and reflecting on what you read — even on the ideas between the lines, the ones no book spells out.

The Jain Way

Modern, yet traditional

Jains have always embraced modernization — while holding on to traditional wisdom. The Jinvani Book Club carries that same spirit into how we read.

How It Works

One book. One month. One community.

Step 1

One Jinvani every month

Every month, we pick one Jinvani. All members read it at their own pace and convenience — a little every day.

Step 2

Daily excerpts & quotes

Daily excerpts and quotes from the book are shared in our WhatsApp community, keeping the reading alive all month.

Step 3

Month-end discussion

At the end of the month, we meet online for an open discussion — questions, reflections, and takeaways.

This is not just a community that reads Jinvani. It is a collective journey of understanding Jain wisdom, reflecting on it, and learning from one another.

Reading Sessions

We also read together, live.

Between books, we hold live reading sessions — where we read short stories together in the session itself. It’s the easiest way to get accustomed to reading Jain books, build interest, and ease into the habit before picking up a full Jinvani.

In the Session

Short stories, read live

No homework — we read short Jain stories together during the session, so everyone participates from day one.

The Purpose

Comfort before commitment

Sessions help new readers get accustomed to Jain books and build genuine interest — step by step, story by story.

Why Join?

No lectures. No tests. No pressure.

Habit

Build a regular Swadhyay habit

Together, not alone — consistency comes naturally when a whole community reads with you.

Practice

A consistent reading practice

Develop the habit of reading every day — without pressure, at your own pace.

Wisdom

Jain wisdom, modern life

Understand Jain wisdom in the context of modern life — where it matters most.

Perspectives

Learn from one another

Every discussion brings something new — other readers’ perspectives open doors your own reading might not.
